DAY 56 - November 21st 2014 (By Oliver Rönholt)

DAY 56  - November 21st 2014 (By Oliver Rönholt)

TONY TZAR WEEK!!!!!

Friday the 21st of November was our last day with Tony.
We thought!
Lin, K and Tony had a little surprise for us, as Tony told us he would stay the whole next week too, until the X-Mas show was done.
And he told us that he would choreograph a piece for the show!
WHAAAAAAAT!
Everyone were super super excited.
Only bad thing was that me and Mike both were injured the whole week….
So for the whole week, with the amazing Tony Tzar, only thing we´ve been doing, is watching.
And now they had to make a show with Tony!
AAAAAARG.
But anyway, nothing to do.
In the evening they started creating the show and Tony made formations and stuff, everything look so cool, and everybody went fullout, never seen them like that!
They were working hard and spent a couple of hours outside ”school time” to get done.
At about 7pm rehearsals was done.
I was really sad that I could not be in the show, but Tony asked me when I was gonna be okay again, and I had a quick answer, ”MONDAY!!!” I wanted to be in the show so bad! ( AND I WAS AHAHAHA!)

It has been an amazing week, with and amazing teacher and person.
And even though I was not dancing, I learned so much from him!

THANK YOU BLOG.

Oliver

DAY 55 - November 20th 2014 (By Nico O´Holi)

DAY 55  - November 20th 2014  (By Nico O´Holi)

Good evening to all you bloggers,

Today was a crazy day, ofcourse it would be.
Any day involving Tony Tzar teaching you let alone being in your presence would be somewhat of an inspirational day.

We started off the day with the usual warm ups which no matter how many times I do it I will never get bored of.
I had to run up the stairs so I only had 3 minutes to get ready for the warm up because I arrived at the studio at 9.57am & we all know what happens when someone is 1 minute late (wall-sit for 5 minutes for everyone)

Then we had Tony, the purpose of today was performance which is a big element for me as I want to be on stage with artists after this education, so its imporant for me to take in and learn all the undescribable things Tony is teaching us.
After ballet, we had an hour lunch break where myself & Cedric started to collab an african choreo with Tony then suggesting all 3 of us making a video before he leaves us (you can imagine our excitment!!!)

We came back to learning the same routine and after being drilled and corrected by Tony it was now time for the groups;

ALL THE GIRLS - killed it

HENRY, CHARLIE, MICHAEL, ZHIAN - killed it

MYSELF GAB CEDRIC - killed it

Seeing the girls dance today was a crazy moment, the improvement and confidence from them all was sky high & what was even better was seeing Lin & K's faces & seeing how proud they were!
After this class we had a whole bunch of fun learning the Baltimore moves.
Simmy & Michael were going orrrfff to all the tunes Tony was teaching us to, this routine was bag of fun & a history lesson on all these moves - first lesson, know your knowledge!

After these challenges Tony Tzar informed us that he was going to come round to our place & chill again as he did on Tuesday & everyone was like yeah yeah yeah yeah come lol.
6 years ago I was wishing to take Tony Tzar' class one day, this week I've had intimate lessons with him and will now be chilling with the man.
God really does work in mysterious ways.

As for now, it´s that time where I love you & leave you.
Take care & have a positive vibe for the rest of your week

Nico

DAY 54 - November 19th 2014 (By Michael Sjösten)

DAY 54 - November 19th 2014 (By Michael Sjösten)

Hello again!

Today we started with some "Easy Jogging" haha.
It was a nice run for me today. Then Gabriel had an Intermediate class. I enjoyed it and it was fun!
Then we had our lunch and then it was time for mr Tony Tzar.                                                          This guy is amazing, and I really mean AMAZING. We did 2 different sexy choreographys. And we focused alot on intention and really making it feel real. Not just doing the steps like we think they should be done but really communicate and tell something with our dance, and it's hard.                 Really hard. For me it was a challenging day, but you gotta have those as well and they will only make you stronger...so bring it on!
Here is on of the choreos that we did!

We also have our X-MAS show coming up so DON'T miss it! It's gonna be a blast! I also got the opportunity to choreograph a piece for the show and I'm super excited for it!!                                     The 30th of november it's going down here in MALMÖ!

I also wanna add that I uploaded my solo a couple of weeks ago and It would be so nice if you could check it out. It's was the solo which I performed on the last day with Andye J.                                        I think it speaks for itself so here it is...

And also, subscribe...I got some cool things coming up that you don't wanna miss!!

Until next time!
