- DAY 178 - May 30th 2014 (By Denice M Solberg)Last blogday for me while in LA, that means our trip is about to end.I love LA, but I feel ready for whatever is gonna happen after this, so I'm not too sad.Today was a great day! I took Denzel Chisholms class with Anton at ML, it was a nice class! We hurried home to the house where the camera crew was waiting for us to take us to Runyon Canyon. They got an extra cab so that everyone who wanted to go could go. They treated us with Frappocinos and snacks for the trip. Reaal luxury! We drove pretty far up and then walked for about 20 minutes. We talked, walked, ate, chilled and enjoyed the amazing view over the biiig cities that never ends. Anton and I were talking about how crazy big everything is and how this view is so different from anything we've seen before. We all chilled and talked for a long time while the camera crew filmed us. Being there with my little new family felt so good! We talked about how proud we are of eachother with all the growth, highlights and dancing skill developement. and for me I realized I've reached a new level of friendship this year. We all go so well together and even with things we get annoyed by we still accept and love each other for who we are. My heart is forever greatful for meeting these 7 amazing individuals. I'm so excited to see what everybody is going to be doing in the near future, cause I'm sure the future is so bright! The next days are gonna be nice! And I'm gonna try and enjoy them to the fullest! I'm finally getting a tan too, so I'm gonna work some more on that before going back :-)Denice M Solberg

Day 177 – May 29th 2014 (by Anton Swerkström)
Day 177 – May 29th 2014 (by Anton Swerkström)
As Im writing this its pretty late...
I´m not gonna give you specifics but its been a long day and hopefully that wont affect my writing too much.
We just had a really nice talk around the kitchen table though just talking about random stuff and enjoying each others company as time just flew by.
It´s only one week left in LA and you can kinda tell from the vibe of everyone.
Today started off easy for me.
I took the morning off and decided to sleep in for the first time in quite a while.
Felt awesome to not set an alarm for once and just enjoy my bed, hopefully that doesnt sound too depressing :-)
After some time chilling by the pool we today had a meeting scheduled with an agent from the MSA agency.
It was really cool we had this meeting organized for us.
The whole hour was pretty much a Q&A with us throwing question after question at this woman.
We got a lot out of it though and got answers to everything we wanted to know.
Right after the meeting I was freaking out because there was three awesome classes I had to choose from (I know, my life is so difficult...) but after a spontaneous gut feeling decision I decided to rush to ML to take Nick Demouras class and I´m really glad I did.
His class was intricate, fast, included knee spins and difficult musicality but it was still a really awesome class.
He was also really chill and fun while teaching, hope to be able to take his class again soon.
So many things I wanna do but so little time to do it :-/
Last class of the day was with Tony Tzar once again.
I have been able to take a lot of his classes and I´m so thankful for this.
I have written about him before and I´m sure the others do too but he is really one of my very biggest inspirations.
His class always makes you feel appreciation and joy for dancing at the same time as you feel like you develop in only an hour and a half.
Today he taught a Hip Hop/Azonto/Dancehall routine.
People went off and the vibe was sick in class.
The 1YEPers also got pulled out as a group and Tony said some really nice things about us.
I wish we could give back to him what he has given us.
A “thank you” after class just seems so weak.
But I think and hope he knows his worth though :-)
Like I said its really late now and I´m reflecting on this last week we have in front of us.
As usual I´m gonna try to make the most of it.
What we have planned is really awesome though so I guess I´ll just roll with it.
Because today we had it announced that we will be shooting a video with AMANDA GRIND.
It was crazy when Lin and K told us.
She has been one of the favorite teachers for the whole group pretty much and to have this opportunity to record one of her choreos is just amazing.
I´m really excited and kinda want it to be Tuesday already so that we will have our first rehearsal.
But there is much to do before then.
Tomorrow looks pretty sick as well with meetings, roadtrip and class with Andye J!
Hmm, I think I better go to sleep.
Good night people!
Anton

DAY 176 - May 28th 2014 (By Elina Ayako)
Huh I've just realized that my next blog entry will be on the day we leave LA..
Noooo!
Those 6 weeks have passed way to fast, I don't want this to end in a week.
But well before the sad day of the departure takes place, we are having the best days here in sunny California!
Today's schedule at ML was a heavy hitter:
Leroy, Sorah, Joesar, Hollywood, Jian.
I knooow, right?!?!
Let's all just take a moment for ourselves to get over how epic this line-up is!
Well anyway, Leroy is one if my absolute favorites at the moment (as I've probably mentioned in previous blog posts)
The choreography today was less on the 'street dance' style & had more elements of contemporary in it. Also, it was a piece you could put a lot of meaning & intention into it so I was close to tears watching him dance - probably one of my best class experiences in LA!
Another highlight of the day was having some quality time with my partner in crime - Denice.
We went to a diner called 'Denny´s and got some awesome pancakes à la mode & had some nice conversations before our last class with Jaffar.
I won't lie - I could get used to this lifestyle!!

DAY 175 - May 27th 2014 (By Mantas Rimeikis)
Sup blog?
We have started our days out here with meetings about our show June 27th - The Matrix, yup the show is coming, and it is gonna be amazing!
Then we enjoyed the pool for a while, and had another meeting which was about writing proper CV's whether it is for a Dance Agency, Dance Company or a regular job that we are applying for.
Alexandria brought some examples, reviewed our CV's and pointed out the mistakes.
It was super informal and I think each of us learned a lot.
Class time!
I took Amanda Grind today (sub at Debbie's)She is my favourite teacher out here, always has her stuff well prepared, makes her students work hard to get it right & brings the best out of me.
Then I took Tony Tzar at Debbie'sChallenging as always, I brake barriers in all of his classes or at least that's how it feels like.
I feel very fortunate to have him as my mentor , so many lessons learned and yet there is so much more to learn!
That's it from me!

DAY 174 - May 26th 2014 (By Cecilia Tram)
Hey beautifuls!
The first and only class today was a private class with Jian, and I really liked it, and it was different from what I have experienced before.
Todays class was about perfomance, but also how it is to work as an industry dancer, and how they prepares for a performance.
I didn't really like Jian in the beginning out here, but now I really like him.
He have so much knowledge!
The class started with a warm up, and I appreciated it so much because it is really rare that the classes start with a good warm up here.
You maybe have a song to stretch and warm up too, then they usually you just start with the choreo.
After the warm up we did some grooves to prepare our bodies to dance, and we would later recognize some of the moves in the choreo.
Then he taught us the choreo and the funny part was, when he started to work with the choreography as a performance he made half of us figure out the choreo reversed, and he was just giving us a few directions here and there.
But basically he just gave us the responsibility to just figure it out.
It was a really good training.
In the technical world we always have to figure out the choreo ourselves when reversed, but I haven't done it for a while and I have never done it with an Urban Style, so I was like wow!
I need practice! The time just flew by and it was really fun!
Why I have only taken one class today is because it is Memorial Day today, and the dance schools are closed.
Love to you all
Cecilia

DAY 173 - May 25th 2014 (By Marilena Maouni)
I think today it is the second time since my time in LA that I didn't dance at all for the whole day!
It's always so tempting to take classes but I've been physically reaching my limit lately so chilling by the pool and getting a tan was my plan for the day.
Denice's friends that are living in Burbank invited us over for barbecue.
It's so nice to meet and hang out with other people who have the same passion as us.
Finding other peoples perspective of dancing and life in general, is always so interesting!
We were doing crazy flips and jumps into the pool!!!! Ok to be honest it was only Anton doing that.
We cooked, laughed a lot and spent some "quality time"
It was a beautiful chill day !
Xoxo,
Marilena

DAY 172 - May 24th 2014 (By Elin Karabuda)
Today we had a video shoot with a guy called Ivan.
It was such a nice experience.
We rehearsed from 13 to 15, then we went to the location.
A supercool girl called Tru was filming.
She was so into it and knew exactly what to do.
The choreography was really awesome too so I think the video will turn out good.
Later we met up with Tony and went to the Grove.
It was super nice there.
We ate at Tony's favorite place.
They had frog legs and other "normal" stuff.

Howdy partners,
Today was quite a chill day for me...by that I mean I only danced for 3 hours.
But it's nice to have days to refresh and reflect sometimes.
I started with a nice breakfast by the pool while Skyping with the lovely Lucile, followed by reading in the hammock and then sunbathing with Mantas.
It wasn't until after 6pm that I headed to Movement Lifestyle to take class with Mike Fal - I like his style, always a calm vibe in his class and his choreography tends to push my musicality and control.
Straight after, almost all of the YEP´ers took class with Tony Tzar.
Oh man that man, THAT MAN!
I love his classes, his choreography, him...he was assisted by Trey today too, somebody we had the pleasure of getting to know through performing with the Black Light Society.
The way they used their whole body and were able to be strong and yet still groove the hell out of the steps is insane!!
I think everybody left wanting to re-cap the choreography at home.
The evening was spent stretching, eating and watching Captain America with the rest of the students. Yep, it's been a nice chill day.
Only 2 weeks left – time is flying!!
Catch ya later!

DAY 170 - May 22nd 2014 (By Denice M Solberg)
It's Thursday in LA and that means a siiiick schedule at Movement Lifestyle!
We started out the day pretty chill, just hung out at the house.
It wasn't so sunny today which is actually nice for a change.
I took three classes today....not too full out to get the most out of them all.
Most of us took the same classes.
It started with a pretty emotional piece and class by the absolutely amazing Erica Sobol.
She is one of a kind!
Her whole class has a different type of energy and she has such great presence as a teacher.
It is wonderful to take those classes where you just trust the teacher with everything they make you do. It was nothing crazy, but you just automatically respect her the moment she starts her class.
I hope I get to take her class again some time.
Next class was with Amanda Grind, which is my absolute favorite teacher and choreographer this time in LA.
I really enjoy her classes and learn a lot from her.
Amanda is always 200% prepared and knows every little detail of her choreos, so it is impossible to be confused with her stuff.
In my oppinion it is also excellent for training of the ear when it comes to musicality.
It´s tricky for me, but its fun!
I think of her classes as a little game where I get all the keys to the secret doors, but I still need to do it right myself.
Today was the last class with her before we go back to Sweden.
I'm sooo sad!
I really love the training I get from her, but also just how her material feels like on my body.
So natural and the music choices are always on point.
I'm posting a picture from today with Anton, Amanda and me.
She has been a super big inspiration for me and allowed me to grow so much while beeing here, so a picture was s great way to keep the memory.
Last class was with David Moore.
Same choreo as our first day in LA. I really like repetition classes, makes me work deeper and more precise.
It was really fun!
Everybody did really good I think :) :)
2 more weeks and we're out!
Time flies, but we knew that already. Talk to ya in 8 days, blog!
Let's dance!

Day 169 – May 21 2014 (by Anton Swerkström)
Day 169 – May 21 2014 (by Anton Swerkström)
Hey guys!
Here is my weekly update from LA.
A lot of things still going on for us here and we are super busy it feels like.
And therefore time just flies by like crazy.
We have been here for 4 weeks already, WHAT!?
Apparently time goes by three times faster here in LA, didnt know that when I came here.
But Im still reminding myself of all the good memories I have already gotten and there are more to come for sure.
For me the last week has been really good dance wise.
After having a little rough time getting in to everything here some things are starting to click now.
I find myself following really well in classes and feeling really good when I dance.
I guess being around the people here for a month has developed me without me knowing it. Im just happy right now and hope it stays like this and maybe even becomes better.
I am gonna keep working hard though and not relax now. I am gonna make these last 2 weeks count for sure!
Today after having two really busy days with lots of classes I decided to take it a little bit more chill.
So took the morning off and then headed off to Debbies where I took two classes.
First was a Krumping/Hip Hop class with a teacher named Duece.
We did some Krumping basics and then went into a Krump inspired routine.
It is cool learning the basics of these particular styles here in LA.
I have also taken some Popping and Locking and I am gonna try to keep taking these classes and not only the regular choreo ones.
Right after I went into Kennis´s Hip Hop class.
For those of you who dont know Kennis his goal is to train the next generation of working dancers.
He wants to see LA produce strong capable dancers who can work in the industry.
So his classes are like a freakin boot camp.
Little bit more old school inspired with lots of grooving and often to more up tempo music.
I reeeeeaally enjoy his classes though.
He pushes me a lot and I always leave his class feeling both super dead and hungry for more training at the same time.
We were supposed to have rehearsal tonight but it ended up being postponed for a couple days.
Maybe its good to have one of these more “chill” days though but right now I am just in such a training mode and super hungry to take class.
Tomorrow the schedule looks sick and I cant wait!
Thats it for this time, I believe I have a couple more blog days here in LA so stay tuned!
Just wanted to end with a quick shout out to my brother.
As Im writing this its the 22nd of May back in Sweden and his birthday.
So just want to officially congratulate him and thank him for always supporting me throughout the years.
Happy Birthday Bro!
Ok now Im done, bye!

DAY 168 - May 20th 2014 (By Elina Ayako)
DAY 168 - May 20th 2014 (By Elina Ayako)
A lot was going on today blog people!
Most of us stayed at Debbies today since it was closed the whole last week because of renovation reasons.
So we decided to spend our whole day there today.
One of my favorite teachers/dancers, Leroy Curwood, taught a special class today at Debbie's so I knew it would be packed.
But it was definitely worth going there because he taught a choreo I had learned before & it felt sooo good doing the same routine again (emphazis on gooood!)
The way he moves is so alien, everytime I see him dance I'm amazed by his talent!!
The next class for me was Jaffar Smith.
Daaang, his musicality is something else!!
It was really challenging but his good vibe & positive energy lifted up the class & made me push myself to work harder. He did a really nice feel good piece & it was nice switching up to a more chilled song for once (even though the choreo was not chilled at all!!!).
Last class for the day was with Danni Rogers. It was my first class with him & all the good things I heard about him were definitely true! He is a very precise & clean dancer without losing the groovy moments.
It was a nice class to end the day with & head to 'Phlextravaganza' - a huge birthday party of a guy called Phlex & pretty much every dancer is going there.
See you in the morning guys, time for me to put my heels on!!

DAY 167 - May 19th 2014 (By Mantas Rimeikis)
Hello blog!
I was sick today, so I've spent my day in bed trying to recover! I am going to write about my Tuesday May 20th instead.
I feel much better today, yesss!
Since we have a minimum amount of classes we have to take per week, and I need to catch up (last week was pretty busy so I didn't reach the minimum)
I had to take 5 classes today.
I decided to spend my day at Debbie's.
Leeroy Curwood was the first teacher & he is amazing!
Sooo unique with his grooves, and always in the pocket , look him up if you haven't heard of him.
Jaffar Smith.
People say that he trained many of the now known dancers which is why I wanted to take his class. It was insanely challenging, the musicality and super intricate style I felt like a beginner again :-)
Seth Swartz/Danny Rogers.
I've got to experience so many new teachers out here & everyone is inspiring.....these guys are no exception.
And to finish my day off I took Tony Tzar!
He decided to do something different I wasn't surprised at all, it's Tony :-)
It was a great, jazz-funk-ish choreography.
He is master of everything.
I wish he taught more often.
It's been 4 weeks already, woah.
Time flies.....I have had my ups and downs here, but I am happy to get to experience everything with a group of people that I know so well.
It feels great to see my class mates grow and shine in classes out here.
Good night blog

DAY 166 - May 18th 2014 (By Cecilia Tram)
Hey blog!
Today I had an awsome day even though we had a car-accident with a car me, and Mantas rented for 2 days. Scary? Yes as he** but I don't want to start this blog entry with that....so well yesterday we rented a car for 2 days and I love it! The car is so nice, but then again....if you are use to drive an old clio from 99 everything is so much better :-)
The day started at the Aquarium of the Ocean. I think it is awsome to be able to see all the fish, and to have the opportunity to feed birds, but you can tell that the fish aren't happy. The Aquarium seems bigger than it actually are. I'm a really big animal lover, and animals belongs in the wild. I loved the whole scene outside the aquarium. The sea & the wonderful houses at the pier.
On the way back home were we driving on the highway, and all the girls , including me had fallen asleep, and suddenly we all woke up, cause we thought a car crashed into us. But it was the tire that exploded. It was so scary and I am so happy nothing happened to us. Mantas, who was driving, pulled to the side. But since we had to pull over on the left side a LOT of cars drove past us in high speed. People didn't even care to slow down it was crazy,
Thank god somebody at least pulled over and helped us calling the police.
When we came back to the house we stayed home for a while to just calm down. I am so happy that Mantas was driving because I don't know if I would have been able to control the car. This is the kind of moments where I believe that everybody having a guardian angel.
We decided to drive back out again later at night actually. To try to bring something positive to the day. This time we drove to Mulholand Drive, to see the whole view over L.A. by night. It was so amazing!
Love to you all

DAY 165 - May 17th 2014 (By Marilena Maouni)
Saturday mornings I would usually spent at Debbie's, but the studio is closed for one week due to renovation.
So my day started with hot power yoga at Movement lifestyle together with Elina and Kallum.
My body was so thankful afterwards (namaste!)
Right after yoga Kallum told me he was going to take a grooves class from a guy he met yesterday.
His name was Joe Brown and it was a free try-out class.
I'm always up for a grooves class especially when most of the classes are choreography classes.
So I joined him!
We were having so much fun that we jumped in the next class a few minutes later and they had already started learning the choreo....OOPS!
But that pushed us to learn the steps faster so in one way it was good!
It was a sub teacher named Matt L. and if my resources are right (Kallum!) he's a choreographer for Disney/Nickelodeon or something like that.
When I relaxed a bit I looked around and I saw it was mostly kids taking the class and some of their mothers in the back recording...I STARTED HEARING VOICES IN MY HEAD.
"Great! I can't wait for these little monsters to humiliate me at the end of the class " said the first voice.
"Shhhhhhhhhh!I'm trying to learn the steps here!" I replied.
"No,no,no you can't let them win"whispered another voice.
It was a long meaningless conversation that just drove me crazy!
I'm better now.
Bye blog people!

DAY 164 - May 16th 2014 (By Elin Karabuda)
Hi!
Now we are more than half way through our LA trip. I could really get used to our daily routine here. Amazing dance classes and hot weather. I will definitely try to get back here in a near future!
This week was crazy. I can't believe we got to perform with the Black Light Society. I know that Tony takes this very seriously. That's why I'm super honored that he wanted to have us in it. It was such an experience to perform along with some crazy dancers. After our performance we went to another club to watch our boys perform their part. Wow. Their piece was jaw dropping!
So far I have also got to do some sightseeing.
The City Walk, Universal, Venice Beach etc. It's nice to experience this part of LA too. But the dancing is what has impressed me the most of course.

DAY 163 - May 15th 2014 (By Kallum Khaos)
After a late night last night performing at 8thWonder with Tony Tzar's Black Light Society I slept in quite late today.
I woke up after midday so I didn't have long to eat, get ready and plan my classes for the day.
I started off with Theo's 'Yoga for dancers' class which is the best way to start the day.
He normally teaches heated power yoga on the weekends and it makes my body feel amazing.
I took the class straight after which was a contemporary class taught by Renee Baldwin (covering for Erica Sobal) and it was really good...but tough.
There were so many amazing dancers, I tried my best to blend in and keep up with the group.
After a food break I took my first ever class with Johnny Jblaze Erasme!
Dude is SICK!
The choreography was so fast; and actually, since there were so many people I spent the first half of the class unable to see anything that was happening, trying to learn the choreo by looking at the feet of the people in front of me.
Once we changed lines I pushed my way to the front row and managed to get the hang of it as best I could the rest of the class, it was really full out but really fun.
After this was an even faster class – Tucker Barkley.
He's not human...its so CRAZY-awesome watching him dance.
I love the way he teaches too, a lot of repetition and a care free attitude makes me feel really comfortable in his classes.
After a long stretch and a good meal it's nearing midnight and most of the group is sat trying to catch a glimpse of Jillian Meyers on Dancing with Stars.
Another great day in LA :-)
See you soon.

DAY 162 - May 14th 2014 (By Denice M. Solberg)
What a special day!
It was performance day with the Black light society.
Girls performed at The Nokia Club downtown LA and the boys at a club in Glendale.
We had tech rehersal at 15:30 and performance around 21.
Going from the studio to the stage was a huge difference, so we spent some time staging everything.
We got to do it twice with very low music.
It went okay, but for me some moves were still feeling really risky.
Marilena and I was dancing in the house section and I've never really danced house, so it didn't feel so natural in my body.
But it was definetly fun to do it.
I was super challenged, but I pulled through and did my best.
The performance went okay I think, but it was really cool sharing the stage with the girls.
The piece was a tribute in honor of the girls that got stolen in africa.
So beautiful!
The whole feel to the piece was african, latin ish.
Sooo goood!
And it was more about dancing coming from the heart than clean lines.
I grew a lot from this experience and I will forever be thankful to Tony for trusting in me to be a part of this.
He is crazy talented and extremely inspiring.
I learned so much in just a few rehersals and the show.
The energy has been really good and it's been so nice to get to know some of the other girls in the team.
After our show we went to Glendale to a club to watch the boys at 8ThWonder - they did sooooo goood!
The crowd went off when they danced.
I hope this is not the end for us with the BlackLight Society!
Maybe when we come back to LA someday, we will be asked to be in another show again :-) fingers crossed.

DAY 161 – May 13th 2014 (by Anton Swerkström)
DAY 161 – May 13th 2014 (by Anton Swerkström)
Greetings from LA once again!
Life is flying by quickly here, I realized today that we have already been here for half of our whole duration which is crazy.
Have to keep telling myself to slow down and just really soak everything in.
And looking back at these three weeks we have done A LOT.
Right now there are many things going on for us.
We of course have our normal schedule which includes 15 classes every week but now we have also started to work on the Matrix show more intensively and we have morning meetings every day this week.
We also have a performance with Tony Tzars company Black Light Society tomorrow and next week we are doing a video project so have to start to prepare for that as well.
And then we are also supposed to have some free time to see and experience LA as a city.
Although dont get me wrong, Im not complaining, LA life is pretty freakin awesome right now.
After a morning meeting working on the Matrix show I headed to ML to take some classes.
First I took a subing teacher called Bobby Dacones who taught a cool stagy choreo.
He also said a lot of interesting things during class about class attitude as well as what he thinks of when choreographing.
You can take a lot from pretty much every class here.
Second class was with Ellen Kim, and wow...she is crazy.
Not only did she do a full out fast choreo but she is pretty full out personality wise too.
In a good way though!
She makes you wanna give your all and really pay attention in class.
And of course except for being a cool teacher she is an AMAZING dancer so just watching her is inspiring.
Right after these two classes we went into our last rehearsal with Black Light Society.
Both the boys group and the girls had run-throughs and was it soooo cool to see each others pieces.
Tony is a genius, he really is.
If you would see these two choreography’s right after each other you would never think they were created by the same person.
It was a little chaotic with like 60-70 people in the studio and switching groups all the time but all in all it was a good rehearsal mostly because of how professional everyone is.
I cant express enough gratitude and appreciation for being a part of this.
It´s some of the best dancers in LA dancing beside me and I just feel so out of place.
I´m trying not to let it bring me down though how incredible these guys are but instead just do my very best and not let Tony down for giving me this opportunity.
Tomorrow we enter the stage and Im super excited.
Now its time for a good long stretching session, some food and hopefully enough sleep.
Talk to you guys in 8 days!
Anton

DAY 160 - May 12th 2014 (By Elina Ayako)
DAY 160 - May 12th 2014 (By Elina Ayako)
Hey there blog readers!
I hope you all celebrated your moms yesterday (sounds like wrong grammar, but I'll just go with it) and now don't tell me you forgot about mothersday! Anyway, let's talk about what happened today.
It was like a trillion degrees today so a nice swim in the pool was definitely needed before classes.
Our first class started at 2.00 & it was with the lovely Isaac Tualaulelei.
The routine he taught was really groovy but still keeping control & sharp moves.
The 80s vibe of the song created a really relaxed, sexy vibe in the room & dancing the choreo felt so good!
Some of us stayed for the next class at ML with Mykell Wilson (no information provided) but I definitely needed a coffee break before my next class at Millenium with Karon. It was my first class with him and daaaang. This guy is sooo good, this was for sure not my last class with him!
I know it's almost impossible for the day to get even better but it actually did get more awesome: Tony Czar had a sub class at ML.
Of course it was packed (it's freaking Tony!) & you could literally feel everyone's excitement.
The piece he taught is a part of the performance on Wednesday with the Blacklight society (and the 1 YEPers will be performing as well wooop wooop!) and this piece is definitely one of a kind.
Tony described the character of the choreography as a mixture between hulk, a robot & godzilla.
Figure that out.
Anyways, the class was just as amazing as expected & it made a perfect end for a perfect day.

DAY 159 - May 11th 2014 (By Mantas Rimeikis)
This crazy thing happened recently......Tony Tzar invited us to be a part of the Black Light Society and perform amongst amazing dancers on Wednesday May 14th.
I feel so fortunate to experience the whole process and train under Tony Tzar!
I felt super intimidated at the first rehearsal because of all the insane and sick dancers in the studio, I thought I would never be able to pull off what the dancers in the 2nd group were doing (super flexible, technical / contemporary-ish routine with jumps and turns, it was amazing)
But it's Tony and he knows exactly how to use his dancers, and training under him feels great, because as he said he wants us to start from 0 and let him build us up from there.
Now we have almost the whole choreography down and it looks incredible, can't wait to get on stage this Wednesday!
I've spent my Sunday reflecting and enjoying the weather, think it's important not to dance every once in a while :-)

DAY 158 - April 10th 2014 (By Cecilia Tram)
Hey everyone!
Today I haven't done that much.
Been shopping with Elina and Elin for the show on Wednesday (Tony Tzar´s BlackLightSociety) and I'm so freaking nervous.
Yesterdays rehearsal went well but OMG!
All the dancers in the show are soooooo good!
It was hard to find the right clothes for the show, but at least I got a top now, and somehow I will work out the pants.
The shopping is just awsome here.....and so are the food.
Wow!
I'm soooo gonna miss the food when I am going back.
I had Japanese food for the first time in my life.
Hey!
I'm chinese.
I eat chinese food ;-)
I have been trying to find a hairdresser from the start and maybe I have found one now, so that´s really great.
Love to you all
Cecilia

DAY 157 - April 9th 2014 (By Marilena Maouni)
Hey hey!
So this Tuesday we all took Tony Tzar's class at Debbie Reynolds and by the end of the class we got to talk with him.
After exchanging our news Tony goes:
"...and oh! Girls you have rehearsal tomorrow at 13:00 and Boys on Thursday at 12:00...I think it's at Debbie's but I'm not sure!
I'll email you!"
Wait!
What?
Rehearsal?
For what?
We didn't have a clue what he was talking about!
It turns out we are part of BLACK LIGHT SOCIETY which, how Tony describes it, is a league of incredible artists assembled by him to create a NEW WORLD of Entertainment!!
And we are a part of it!!!!!
We are performing in one week
Boys and Girls at different places at the same time , alongside AMAZING DANCERS such as Leroy Curwood, Ellen Kim, Lady Cultura, Alex Fetborth and many many more!
We couldn't believe our ears, and for Tony to trust us so much to put us on stage with all these amazing people means the world to us and we are so grateful for this crazy opportunity :-)
So today it was our second rehearsal for us girls and it was so crazy!!!
Tony's choreography is so siiiiiiick and every single person in the room was killing it!!!
Pfffff I can't believe what happened today!!!!!
While waiting for my group to dance I embarrassed myself and took some pictures - well I AM SORRY but that doesn't happen every day, so I might as well capture this moment! :-)
To be a part of this Education Program definitely gives you insane opportunities.
