The classes I took today was Amanda Grind, Pat Cuz and Tucker Barkley. They were back to back, so pretty intense.

Amanda is really interesting to watch. 

She is sooo in the pocket. 

That's one of the things I'm trying to focus on here. I like her classes. She's an amazing teacher and her style is so nice.

Pat retaught the choreo from last week. Im really glad he taught it again, since it was difficult for most of us the first time. Now it felt much better.

Tucker was insane as expected. I took his class at Summer Drop few years ago and I was blown away by the quality of his movement. I'm still super fascinated by it. My jaw was wide open when he showed the first set to music. I stood in the back the entire class, so picking up the choreo was a little like suduko. I still liked a lot it though.

One more thing! 

Today our boys had rehearsal with Tony Tzar for a show. Us girls had it yesterday. The other dancers that are a part of it are amazing. Our practice was for 3 hours. It didn't feel long though. Mainly because not everybody dance all the time, so we also get to observe some of the process, which is really interesting. This is such an amazing experience and I feel so honered that Tony believe in us.

Hellllllooo!

So this is my second instalment of LA life  :-)  so far it's such a good experience, the classes are amazing, the sun is amazing, and Spiderman 2 on Imax 3D at Universal City was AMAZING haha. 

Today the first class I took was Joesar which was perfect! 
I love his style and ability to groove yet remain sharp, it just felt really good in my body, almost like I was freestyling the choreography. 
It was nice to speak briefly after the class with him about his experience teaching and how he feels when he's in front of a class.

Afterwards I headed to Millenium with Denice to take a scheduled education class with Marty Kudelka. 
It was just my second time at Millenium but I really enjoyed the class, it was super chill and relaxed to dance. 
You can tell that he is a big deal in LA, you could feel the confidence and experience when he teaches. 

Finally I headed back to ML to take class and session with the Beat Freakz. 
My body felt exhausted but I pushed through kept dancing until around 11:30pm at night. 
The scene is really nice here when it comes to freestyling, I feel like I've not fully submersed myself into it yet but it's nice to witness it and be a part of it a little, hopefully I'll have the energy to cypher more before the end.

Heeyyyy whats blogin blog? 
I had an awesome day! 
Spent the whole day at Debbie Reynolds studio where I pushed myself to take 6 classes! 
I spent my whole day with a lovely girl from Norway, Valentina! 
And we helped each other push through! 
It was hard at some points, but because the classes were so good the time went by fast. 
I don't know if you know them all, but incase you're wondering I took class from 
Joesar Alva
Angelina Grima
Fresh
Jian
Sir Charles and Tony Tzar. 

The whole group took a lot of classes at Debbies today, in Joesar and Tony's class we were all 8. 
It feels so good when we take class all together and we get to share and talk about how it was afterwards. 
Tony was one of our teachers at the education so taking his class now was so great! 
He is truly one of a kind! 
Insanely talented! 
I swear I could watch him forever and still be amazed by what he can do! 
Skills wise as a dancer and a choreographer! 
And surprise!!! Tony told us we are a part of something called the BlackLightSociety! 
And it looks like we are gonna perform over here :-)
That's huge for us! :D woooooooooohoooo! 

I love LA! That's all I got to say!

Alrighy, coming to you once again with a LA update! Things are moving along here and time is flying by pretty fast. 
Trying to just live in the moment though and soak everything in, and there is ALOT to soak in.

Today I started off the day easy with a nice breakfast and then worked out a little by the pool. 
After that it was off to take some classes! 
First one of the day was with Mykell Wilson. 
Haven’t taken his class before but heard a lot of good things about it. 
I also see him in many classes at ML which inspires me even more to take his class since he obviously is very eager to learn and develop too. 
He did a sharp full out MJ piece and it was really cool. He even called me out in class for being too stiff... guess that’s LA for you right there. 
Talked to him after wards and got some nice feedback though.

Second class was with Kyle Hanagami. 
He haven’t taught that much since we have been here and he also said he wont be teaching that much in LA for a while. 
So a lot of people took this opportunity and the class was pretty packed. 
It was a little different because he taught a three person routine so we had to divide in to groups of three. It was a very stagy choreo meant for an artist so one person was sorta the main performer. We danced to a Beyonce song so there was a lot of Beyonces in that class and people went OFF. 
Me and Kallum who weren’t maybe that comfortable with the style ended up being background dancers but our Beyonce Cecilia freakin killed it!

Last class was a collab between Pat Cruz and Amanda Grind. These two for you who maybe doesn’t  know are really intricate when it comes to musicality and sometimes movements too. 
So this was a very challenging class but till my favorite class of the day.


Now its late and I have to start thinking about tomorrow and go to bed. 
Once again just trying to take one day at a time here.
So far the dancing aspect here has been truly amazing though.

What a packed but awesome day here in sunny California! 
Weekends are our off time so everyone's plans looked a little different today. 
But there was one thing we all had in common: 
The ML yard sale. 
So we all headed out the house around 10.00 to make sure we were early enough to get the good deals. 

Most of us got home with a biiiig bag full of clothes so: mission accomplished! 
Next thing on mine & Denice's sunday schedule was getting our nails done. 
We got a nice pedicure done as well (why not, right?), both in nice summery colours. 
Meanwhile some of the group had another exciting activity going on: A photoshoot with the incredibly talented Eva Berten.

In the afternoon some of us took dance classes at Debbie's as well but we mostly used the day to rest our bodies. 
The most exciting thing though happened in the evening: 
We went to see 'The Amazing Spiderman 2' in the imax cinema at city walk. 
Wow! 
This was just mind blowing (coming from a non-action-movie-lover this means a lot!)
Our weekend came to a really nice end by hanging out with the group at the house, getting prepared for a new week to start. 
Wooooop!!

It's our of day! My body is thankful haha.

Me and Elin decided to go shopping and see other areas of the city, so we went to Glendale (we took the bus with bunch of random weird people, public transportation is scary in LA hahah it was still fun though) 

So basically we've spent our whole day browsing the shops, very entertaining I know :-)

It's been almost 2 weeks and I feel like am learning so much, just need some time to digest, but first I'll just suck everything in like a sponge. 

I feel inspired by people here every single day & know for sure that I have to come back every once in a while. 

The level of dancers is unbelievable here, people from all over the world gathering to work their butts of in every single class.  

Oh and other exciting thing, our graduation show trailer is out and it is Awesome!

Once we come back from LA all our energy will go back to making this show amazing!

So hey! 

It is friday and it is Cc this time writing about the amazing day. 
Right now I'm laying in bed. 
I'm so tired. My knees have started to play with me again and at this time and in L.A I'm kinda frustrated but yeah I'm hoping that the rest Saturday and Sunday will do me good :-) 

So I started my first class with Leroy Curwood, and it was amazing! 
I was in front in the begining and it went well, but it was of course alot of people and when we switched lines I was almost lost ;-)  yes but it was hard to see even, and though it was alot of people in CJs class too it wasn't the same, and I even got kick by someone when we did som footwork. 
Auutch! Didn't make my knee better. 

And the second class was with Mike Fal. 
I didn't know him from before but as you all already know, I don't know alot of dancer from before...but anyways. 
I just got so shocked that it seemed like he wasn't prepared for the class at all, and I think he got more stressed when he couldn't really explain the musicality, and when he did it, it felt as if it wasn't the same as he taught.
But I really liked the choreo, and it was good training for me. Cause I am not used to that style. 
Elina, Elin and Denice got picked and I'm so proud of the girls. 
They killed the choreo! :-)

And the last class today was with Dalphe Morantus and it was a Groove Class and it was amazing! Unfortunately I couldn't be in the class the last 10 minutes because of my knees but I will definity take his class again.
He used different kind of music in class....and we danced to house, hip hop and some dancehall and some afro inspired music. 
Amazing. 

And this was my amazing day in sunny L.A
