DAY 45 - November 6th 2014 (By Anaïs Kauer)

Dear blog Readers!

Here is a very new student of the Hip Drop Education: MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE J ß I kind of look like that hahaha (my name is Anaïs actually)!! 

I am so excited but a little bit nervous to write for the first time on this blog, I have to keep the level of my amazing classmate… 

But who cares? Actually you still don’t know who I am and why I just appear like that from nowhere two months after the beginning of the Education! 

However you won’t learn it now because it’s not the point of the day hahahahahahahahahha!

Okay let’s talk about serious thing. 

Today was a calm day as three boys (Cedric, Gabriel and Michael S.) were missing. 

I can’t remember if anyone already wrote about this amazing crazy opportunity they get but anyways I will remind you. 

The week before the break they went with Lin to Copenhagen to take Lin’s and then Marvin’s class and a couple of days later Lin came out with an amazing news: Marvin asked Lin for hiring the boys to perform as a dancing band for the Danish Music Awards which is the biggest Music Event in Denmark. And it is also to be shown on Danish TV2. 

And what did we all learn from that? 

Concerning everyone, that whatever you are doing in life opportunities are hidden anywhere and don’t ever feel lazy about DOING something because you could miss one of them just by staying passive in your life, be active and the opportunities will come to you. 

At least that’s what I will remember from this episode. I am so proud and happy for them! 

So today they were rehearsing for this show that will happen on Saturday while the rest of the family went to school as usually.

We started with a one hour warm up led by our crazy fittest woman of the world: of course I am talking about Lin! 

Then we continued with Luise’s part of the X-Mas show. 

She taught very good and very clearly but even though she makes every moves very understandable I struggled a lot doing the ending because she made us going down on the knees and then lifting and coming up very fast with a turn at the same time and hitting the beat and the whole thing in two counts I guess 

(I don’t know if you can imagine how it looks like but I swear it was hard and I still don’t get it hahaha)

After Luise’s class we had Ballet. 

Nothing crazy happened but I learned a lot. 

As I have no bases in Ballet I am always so tired after this class because I have to think about so many things: squeeze your butts, lift your head, release your shoulder, hold your abs, point your feet and blablabla. 

I was happy to have lunch right after to rest a bit before learning Zhian’s part of the X-Mas show. 

This class was so funny. 

Zhian made a lot of jokes and it was hard to take him seriously but in the end we all got the choreo. That was the funniest part of the day. 

We ended up the program of the day with a Yoga class taught by Sophia. 

Everyone looked forward to see her again so I was very impatient to meet her and learn from her. 

And I haven’t been disappointed. 

She is a very nice and thoughtful person. 

She explained every different yoga positions clearly and I discover new way to stretch which excites me a lot because I LOVE to stretch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, it would be a good place to stop because I already wrote way too much for such a normal day but I still have to explain you the end of my day because you know what?! 

I finally had my first class with Lin!!!! 

YEAHHHHHHHH!! 

I took both classes of the Thursday night and had a lot of fun! 

I liked dancing in a “having fun” mood and sometimes I also need to take classes less seriously just to remember that first of all we dance for fun. 

Since I am here I concentrate so much in class in order to take the most I can from this education (what I will continue to do) that sometimes I might forget to dance without expectations, just for the love of dancing but tonight I danced in this mood and I am very happy and excited!!!

This time I am really done and I will go to bed!
