Hello Everybody my name is Antoine Cedric Ekomo. 

I’m 24 and I live in Switzerland. 

My Mother is from Cameroon and my father is from France but I grew up in Cameroon without my Father until 12 and then i moved to Zürich in Switzerland. 

In Cameroon I didn’t dance because I was to shy. 

Once at a little party, there was a little competition. 

I was there with my Brother, but when it came down to the dance part I just stopped and said I don’t want to dance and everyone started to laugh at me. 

Since theen I decided to not doing it anymore. 

As I moved to Zurich I went to school, just the normal stuff every kid is doing there. 

In Cameroon my family used to dance at big Parties and family reunion likes ( Christmas, Birthdays etc.) and every time I was the Kid on the side just eating and not dancing (HAHAHA)!

I Started dancing in 2008 so as you can see it was kind of late. 

I used to play soccer, Basketball, Tennis and doing sports all the time. 

I was just like every kid, going on youtube watching videos and free-styling to hiphop songs by myself. 

It was not on my mind until later to be a professional dancer or even to think that far. 

My inspiration when I started with Hiphop freestyling was from the film "You got served" and watching Michael Jackson, my Brother and the Jabbawockeez dance. 

In School I used to dance to a medley of Jabbawockeez it was kind of funny because I was so bad. 

Then on Youtube I saw a video of Lyle Beniga "Nike Boots" and I was like, this is what I want to learn, like now! 

I searched for a danceschool in Switzerland but it was hard to find a good one. 


A friend of mine showed me a danceschool called American School of dance by Andrew Resurreccion and I went to the audition and got in there. 

Since then I trained hard for 2 years, every day, and I took every workshop. 

I learnt different styles like Jazz, House, Bboying, Popping and dancing choreography’s. 

It was at this time I decided to become a professional dancer. 

I can’t do anything else. 

Dancing gives me the feeling of happiness and I like to see the face of people while I’m dancing, because they look so happy and I like to make people happy through my dance. 

I had some dancing jobs at the American School of dance, but it was not fulfilling for me. 

I also have a crew with my friends we’re called Cookie Monstaz. 


One time we decided to go to Winterdrop 2014. 

I think it was the right decision. 

At the second day Lin saw me dancing and asked me if i heard about the 1 Year Education. 

She asked me if I wanted to be apart of it. 

This Moment was a sign for me, it came in the right moment of my life. 

I decided to apply for it and now I’m doing it and this year will change my life. 

This year is like the last Concert Michael Jackson prepared „This is it“ and this is my moment. 

I Will do anything in this year to reach my goals and to be successful!

Dancing is for me freedom, you have no rules you can do what ever you want and this is the style of dance I got for myself. 

I like to dance with no rules and just give my energy, my power, my emotions to touch the hearts of people.I want to show to this world what I love to do. 

I want to get inspired by other Dancers and inspire the Dance Community.!
