Helloooo Worlddd!

My name is Nico O’Holi, I’m 21 & I’m from 'Landannnn' (London)

I never really use to be interested in dancing… I mean if you count two stepping to the Spice Girls then I’ve been a pro dancer since the age of 3 ;) 

But to be serious, I began to dance when I was 16 whilst doing performing arts in college, this is where I realised I had the biggest passion for not just dancing but movement in general. 

I’ve never had any serious training unless dancing in nightclubs with your friends count :) 

Which is why I am ready to give blood sweat and tears to this Educational Program. 

Not to sound cliche but dancing really is an escape from reality therefore when I’m in a studio or even just listening to music it allows me to be free you know, just a few moments of having no worries in the world.

I use to be in every single sports team in High school, however when I finished school I realised that I have to be doing what I feel I’m best at & what makes my heart completely content.

I recently just graduated with a bachelor degree in Performing Arts at Bedfordshire University, so this program couldn’t have come at a better time, thank you Lin for seeing potential in me and giving me the best gift I have ever received! 

I remember being at a dance class in Bedford where Charlie had told me about this program, I had to tell him to shut the f%#k up lol because I thought he was talking sshh. 

In my mind there was no such thing as a person or program that could offer so much to dancers seeking more knowledge and better training. 

Then I found Lin on Facebook where she told me to apply, I remember sending off my video and waiting TWO WEEKS to hear back from Lin. 

This had to be the worst two weeks of my life, can you imagine what it is like checking your emails and Facebook every minute of the day for TWO WEEKS?!

I’ve been here for seven days and I’m still struggling to believe that this is not a dream!

As for right now, I AM HERE and for what feels like the first time in my life, I am alive! 

To be surrounded by talented beasts that not only share the same interests but passion as me is so crazy, it’s beyond me - my new 2Yep Family! 

My dream is to be on stage with artists, perform to the world and later go on into creative directing - tell Beyonce what to do you know :D… 

I want to share my gift with the universe and make people happy - they say you never work a day in your life when you work a job you love! 

My BIGGEST dream is to make my Ma proud - God bless her soul, she is my motivation and the reason I am so dedicated to my craft so I intend to take every opportunity and teachings my new Mama Lin provides me with in order to become not only the best dancer I can be but also the best person!

I’m here to inspire, be inspired, share and most importantly learn in not just dancing but life lessons - I’m ready to show the world who I am!
